AMAZING ANIMALS
dolphin
This project was completed in Design thinking class and the goal was to develop four different versions of an animal: encyclopedia, gesture, logo, and transformation. I completed 20 gesture drawings, 18 logo drawings, and 9 transformation drawings before deciding on the final four.

Encyclopedic drawing
This drawing had to be as accurate and similar to the reference image as possible. On tracing paper I outlined the shape of the dolphin and the places where the shadow was darker. The eye, fins and back were among the elements that I later began to shade.

Gesture drawings
For this drawing, I used my entire arm and fast movements to capture the essence of the animal. Gesture drawings I made mostly by using brushes and ink.

Logo
I have created logo sketches using many design principles and elements like knock out, overlap, line, contrast, gestalt, etc. logo designs that are based on lines, shapes, and both lines and shapes.
I used tracing paper and a sharpie pen to create the logo drawings.

Transformation drawings
For the transformation concept I had to draw nine different ideas for transforming your pet into something different, something associated with it, adding new information that will make people look longer and experience awe.

Final Logo
Showing design principles like gestalt and negative space. I made final logo in Illustrator using Pen Tool.
